Joseph began as YSOSW's Development Director in September 2001. He is responsible for the majority of YSOSW's fund development activities including grant-writing, special events production, service contract development, direct-mail solicitation, and donation database management. In addition to his fundraising duties, Joseph also edits YSOSW's newsletter and coordinates publicity efforts. Joseph serves on the Leadership Team, Newsletter Committee, and Staff Fundraising Committee. A resident of Madison since 1993, Joseph came to YSOSW after serving nearly four years as the Development Director for OutReach, Incorporated. He studied political science and urban geography at Université Laval, Québec and University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. In his spare time, Joseph enjoys cooking, yoga, traveling, rock climbing and skiing. He is also a certified (certifiable) cheese-fanatic.
