Intensive Supervision Counselor
Qualifications -BS/BA in human service field, or quivalent work experience-2 years of paid experience working with troubled youth-Demonstrated writing proficiency-Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team-Demonstrated computer skills

Preference will be given to those candidates having experience working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. Working knowledge of the Dane County Juvenile Court system and good public relation skills are also considered a plus.

Duties -Conduct intake/assessment interviews -Facilitate group, family and team meetings-Establish behavioral contracts with program clients-Monitor client school attendance/performance-Monitor client behavior in the home and community-Maintain case files and tracking for all assigned clients-Submit progress reports to Juvenile Court, and appear in court as necessary-Maintain regular contact with parents, social workers & other collaborativeprofessionals involved with assigned clients -Perform additional responsibilities (i.e. group facilitator) as directed

Work HoursCounselors work a flexible schedule; evening/weekend hours may be required
